What Wellnest stores on your device

Wellnest stores medications, dose logs, fasting sessions, and app settings locally on your device. This data never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it.

How your data is used

Data stored on your device is used only to run reminders, timeline views, fasting tools, and adherence calculations inside the app. It is not transmitted to any server.

Storage and encryption

Currently, Wellnest uses SQLite storage managed by the operating system. Encrypted backup export is available as an additional layer of protection for data you choose to export.

Exports and shared copies

You can export your data as plaintext CSV or encrypted JSON backups. Once exported, copies sent to other apps or services are outside Wellnest's control.

Website data collection

When you use the Wellnest website (wellnestapp.app), we collect the following personal data:

• Email subscription: If you sign up for early access, we store your email address and optional platform preference (iOS/Android). This data is used only to send you launch updates.
• Feedback form: If you submit feedback, we store your email address and message. This data is used only to read and respond to your feedback.

This data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (a database hosted by Cloudflare, Inc.). It is not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not linked to any data in the Wellnest app.

Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): We process this data based on your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see below).

Cookies and website analytics

We use Google Analytics on this website to understand how visitors find and use the site. We run Google Analytics in consent mode with advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization all denied. This means:

• No advertising or remarketing cookies are ever set.
• No data is shared with ad networks.
• Analytics data is used only for aggregate site usage (page views, traffic sources).

A first-party analytics cookie (_ga) may be set to distinguish visits. It contains no personal information and is not shared with advertisers. Website analytics are entirely separate from the Wellnest app, which stores all health data locally on your device.

In-app usage analytics

Wellnest sends anonymous usage statistics by default so we can understand which screens and features are most useful. If you opt into detailed analytics, we add a random device identifier that is never linked to your identity.

The feedback board stores your suggestions, votes, and a separate anonymous device identifier. We never collect medication names, dosages, schedules, fasting session details, notes, IP addresses, or location.

You can opt out of analytics or delete analytics and feedback-board data at any time from the app settings.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (email address, feedback, platform preference).
• Right to data portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Right to lodge a complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For app data (medications, fasting logs, settings): this data is stored only on your device. We do not have access to it. You can export or delete it directly within the app.

Data retention

• Email subscription data: Retained until you request deletion or unsubscribe.
• Feedback messages: Retained until you request deletion.
• App data: Stored on your device only. Deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.
• Analytics data: Anonymous, aggregated. Individual device identifiers can be deleted from app settings.

Children's privacy

Wellnest is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our website, contact us and we will delete it.
